iPCS is the Sprint PCS Affiliate of Sprint Nextel with the exclusive right to sell wireless mobility communications network products and services under the Sprint brand in portions of Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Iowa, Ohio and Tennessee. We market Sprint PCS products and services through a number of distribution outlets located in our territory, consisting of our own retail Sprint stores, national distributors (including Radio Shack and Best Buy), local third-party distributors, and commercial partners.

Sales

The majority of our growth opportunities are in sales, both in our retail stores and through our association with local/national distributor channels and commercial partners. Opportunities for positions focusing on distributor and commercial partners are located throughout our territories. We have retail locations in the following cities:

While a wireless background is desirable for retail sales positions, we enjoy introducing new associates to wireless if they have experience in a retail or customer care environment. For outside sales positions, previous outside sales or a training background is helpful, along with strong administrative skills and the ability to work independently. Wireless experience is always a plus!

Engineering and Network Operations

RF Field and Cell Technicians are located throughout the iPCS territory. RF Engineers and Switch RF Technicians are located at the following Switch Centers:

Offices in Grand Rapids, MI and Chillicothe, OH are centers for network operations where we plan the design and construction of networks. A smaller center in Davenport, Iowa includes a network performance team of engineers for Illinois and Iowa. Ideal candidates in this group have backgrounds in wireless and in the technology used by Sprint.

Administrative

Corporate headquarters are located in Schaumburg, IL, a northwest suburb of Chicago. Most of the senior management team is located here, along with Human Resources, Marketing, IT, and Sales Operations. Our Accounting Team is located near the Quad Cities (IA/IL) in Geneseo, IL.
